813 Coffee Co was born from the shared dream of Varian and Herlyn, a husband-and-wife team who have been passionate about coffee long before they became a couple. In August 13, 2016—when they officially became a couple they began to take the steps toward turning that dream into reality.

Launched in 2020 during the pandemic lockdown, their journey was one of resilience and learning. They dove into the world of coffee roasting, honing their skills, and developing the expertise to evaluate and create unique coffee profiles. With a passion for learning, they’ve continuously refined their craft, perfecting each roast through careful coffee cupping, quality control, and exploring beans from diverse coffee-growing regions.

For Varian and Herlyn, 813 is more than just a date—it's the day they officially became a couple, marking the beginning of a shared journey full of love and possibility. The name "813" also draws inspiration from a Bible verse that holds deep significance for them, Matthew 8:13: “Go. It will happen just as you believed.” To them, this verse is a perfect blend of faith and perseverance, much like a well-crafted coffee—slowly steeped, perfectly balanced, and just as you hoped it would be.
