It all began when I was a stay-at-home mom, and my son had a bake sale at school. I was the only mom who brought store-bought cookies, and they stood out—unmistakably dusty among the beautiful, homemade treats. I felt embarrassed and disappointed, but more than that, I was determined to do better. That Christmas, my husband, Andres, gifted me a KitchenAid mixer, and that’s when everything changed…

We believe that understanding the reasons behind these rising prices and taking actionable steps to support women coffee producers can help empower consumers and drive positive change in the coffee industry.

Pivot to Planted
As we approach Valentine's Day this February, we find ourselves reflecting on the meaningful connections that shape our lives—whether it be the love between two people or the shared passion for a cause greater than ourselves. Our love journey began on August 13, 2016, the date that marked the beginning of our relationship and also became the name of our company—a constant reminder of the love that fuels both our journey and our purpose.
