As we approach Valentine's Day, we find ourselves reflecting on the meaningful connections that shape our lives - whether it be the love between two people or the shared passion for a cause greater than ourselves. Our love journey began on August 13, 2016, the date that marked the beginning of our relationship and also became the name of our company - a constant reminder of the love that fuels both our journey and our purpose.
This February, we are reminded that the love we pour into each cup of coffee extends far beyond the relationships we cherish—it reaches out to the women coffee producers we partner with. By choosing to support women coffee producers, you are contributing to their financial independence and actively addressing the gender inequality that persists in the coffee industry. This independence allows them to invest in their families and build better futures for their communities. On one side of our business, our commitment to sourcing coffee from women producers around the world is central to this mission. By working with women-owned farms, we are helping create financial independence for women who face significant gender inequality. Through every pound of coffee we source, we support these women in their journey to better their lives and uplift their communities. By staying planted in our relationships with these farmers, we ensure that every cup of coffee you enjoy contributes to their success and strengthens the roots of their businesses.
On the other side, we have also pivoted to focus on building deeper connections with the local communities we serve.
